Marcus has been a vet in the Watton area for over 40 years. Marcus came to Norfolk for lambing experience in the early 80s after qualifying as a vet in 1983 and has worked in the Watton area for most of the last 40 years.
Marcus previously worked in mixed practice but now is exclusively caring for small animals at Knotts Yard. He enjoys radiography and dentistry.
In October 2025 he relinquished his ownership of Knotts Yard Veterinary Practice that he started in 2010. This was a very difficult decision but driven by the need to wind down and also to secure the future of Knotts Yard. Marcus believes DNA Vetcare Limited has the same values and ethos as Knotts Yard, and is happy with the outcome. Marcus will continue servicing the local community working as a vet at the practice.
His values and standards and that of the whole practice remain the same under the umbrella of DNA Vetcare Limited. Furthermore, the majority of the team of vets, nurses and reception will still continue to work here.
There will of course be some changes as some protocols will be changed but the treatment of the animals under our care will not be compromised.
