Book your pet in for one of our free health checks with our friendly nursing team.
We understand that it can sometimes be difficult to control our pet’s weight. Some of the risks connected to obesity are diabetes, heart disease, skin complaints and arthritis along with mobility problems.
These alone make it worthwhile monitoring our pet’s weight. Just these simple measures can help give our faithful friends a longer and more active life with us.
Elderly patients are cats over ten years old, most dog breeds over eight years old and giant dog breeds over five years old.
At our elderly patient clinics we offer the following services:

We offer a urine test for Glucose only, to help with the early detection of Diabetes.
Our Head Nurse and our Veterinary Nurse can do second vaccinations as well.
Our nursing team also perform the following for a small charge:
We do not charge for post-operative checks and suture removal.
There is a much shorter waiting time for nurse clinics, as we are more available than the vets and we can be very helpful in advising whether an animal does actually need to see the vet or not.
